PicaSort was created from a simple need. Using Picasa to manage my photos and especially to classify them, I was confronted with the problem of retrieving the order of the photos from Picasa to integrate them in the same order in my web album. Picasa also proposes to publish them on an album, but that means that every time, all the work done on the classification of photos cannot be found in a simple Windows explorer. In short, I had to find a solution. The solution is finally very simple since Picasa offers to export an album in XML. You just have to read the generated file to be able to manipulate the album as you wish. This software physically renames the images that are contained in the exported album by creating a folder called export/ with all the images but numbered to be sorted in the same order in Windows Explorer as in Picasa.
