Some digital cameras and mobile phones are now equipped with a GPS that allows you to write the geographical location where this ptoto was taken inside the jpeg file constituting the digital photo. The PhotosGeo2 program allows you to read these jpeg files, and to automatically show on the map where this photo was taken, provided that the PC is connected to the Internet The GPS coordinates are indicated in clear. These GPS coordinates can be modified if necessary, for example if the accuracy is insufficient. the original jpeg file is never modified, but a new file with the same name is created, but preceded by a # character for people whose A.P.N. or the mobile phone does not have a GPS, their jpeg files can be opened in PhotosGeo2, and you can then add the GPS coordinates of your choice. PhotosGeo2 also lists the different Exif tags present in the loaded files, and indicates their value in case the content of the tag consists of an Ascii text.
