Petanque or Provençal Games is now practiced in 48 countries and is gaining in popularity around the world. 3D Pétanque Unlimited probably foreshadows a new generation of petanque game simulator on PC. For the first time in a 3D game you can “seal” your balls, i. e. adjust the vertical angle of the throw and give effect to your ball. You can play as in Provence in singles, doubles or triples according to the official rules of the International Petanque Federation. Each player chooses the weight of his balls and defines his type of game by acquiring a scoring and shooting ability. 3 game surfaces are available (gravel, sand and grass). There is a training ground to learn to play and to train for scoring and shooting. This game also offers a sighting aid with intuitive adjustment of vertical angle of fire, direction, force and effect in three mouse clicks. The data is displayed and stored for the last ball played by each player. This sighting device is highly accurate and available through the HELP option.
